At Ysgol y Ddwylan, we strive to develop a trusting working partnership with parents in all matters relating to the education and welfare of their children. In some instance, a child may be experiencing difficulties with aspects of his/her learning that makes it harder for him/her to learn than most children of the same age. In these cases our aim is to recognise the difficulties as early as possible and work with the child and the home to try and address them. Our aim at Y Ddwylan is to work with you on all these matters – to explain what we find, to suggest ways you might like to help in the home and to ensure that your child is happy and is achieving to the best of his or her ability.
Mrs Lesley Reed, our Additional Learning Needs Co-ordinator will be working with your child and with your child’s teacher – helping to identify appropriate targets and suitable learning strategies. She is in school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday if you would like to contact her.
Together we can make a difference!
